YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 1, ARMENPRESS. Parliament Speaker Alen Simonyan delivered a congratulatory speech on September 1, Knowledge and School Day.
“Dear compatriots,
Good knowledge and school day. Refreshing and developing knowledge neither begins nor ends with the school year. It is an endless process and all its circles have their mission. Each beginning of the school year brings new expectations, new emotions and new hopes. September 1stst is an important day for a parent sending their child to school for the first time, a college grad student, for anxious freshmen who have appeared in a whole new world and are not adjusting easily to their uniform, and for the teacher who fulfills his mission duty with honor. The ability to transmit knowledge is a major mission and tomorrow depends on it.
Dear compatriots, the perfection of our educational system is today’s imperative, the result of which is a strong state with patriotic and caring citizens.
I wish a good trip and a successful school year to schoolchildren, students and everyone involved in the educational process,” Simonyan said in the speech published by the press service of the parliament.
