For Kodi, after giving up, he was completely lost and had no purpose, no direction, and no friends. Everyone he knew was “living their best life” on Facebook and Instagram, and there he was, sitting in a house with seven other people – $25,000 in his bank account and $10,000 in credit card debt. He would continue to work at the grocery store where he barely earned minimum wage for most of the year, while saving every penny he could so he could pay off his debt. And although the job barely keeps him afloat financially, he admitted that the positive side of the job allows him to see different categories of people who care inside and outside the store, especially wealthy people. .
Driven by his obsession to achieve something worthwhile in his life, he started running an e-commerce business from his basement while working 12-hour days at the grocery store. According to Kodi, he sold clothes on Shopify for a year before hitting 100,000 total sales, by which time he realized he had successfully started a home business from the basement of a shared house, eventually paid off his debts and had about $7,000 in savings. In his words, “It was my first real taste of the power of the internet and opened my eyes to how people were creating income in this relatively new medium.” Afterwards, he sold the e-commerce business and reinvested the money into a marketing venture, learning a lot about running ads, shooting video content, and scaling businesses. He continued this new business until his marketing business for real estate agents and brokers took off, and I made 200,000 sales in 2018, even though he was the only employee. At this point, he realized it was time to change his approach to dedicating his life to helping others. So he founded the Build Your Online Business coaching program.
On why he started the Build Your Online Business coaching program, Kodi said, “I started my business out of the need to reform the education system. The education system had failed people like me.
